I’m Maeve*, a fledgling ecologist based on Dartmoor. My work sits at the edge of landscapes and lives — where restoration, community, and meaning meet. With a background in eco-horticulture and an MSc in Restoration Ecology, I now focus on how people relate to nature, and seek to support resilience in the changing habitats and culture on Dartmoor.
This space is a way to gather field notes and fragments: observations from surveys, thoughts shaped by weather and terrain, and quiet questions about belonging, stewardship, and change. I believe in curiosity, reciprocity, and the power of attention — especially when it comes to the more-than-human world.
